About This Spot

Stepping into Noir Brasserie & Wine Bar feels like discovering a quietly confident neighborhood spot where warmth and familiarity wrap around you like an old, well-loved blanket. Nestled along a peaceful stretch in Tyldesley, this is a place where the pace thoughtfully slows — inviting you to settle in, breathe, and savor the simple rhythms of good company and good food.

Inside, the atmosphere is cozily inviting without ever feeling stuffy or contrived. Soft lighting mingles with the gentle hum of conversation and clinking cups, creating a space that’s as much about human connection as it is about the plate in front of you. Whether sharing a lazy weekend breakfast with friends or marking a small celebration over afternoon tea, the gentle buzz here encourages those everyday moments to feel a little more special.

The menu at Noir is designed with care, balancing familiar comforts with thoughtful twists that cater to varied tastes and lifestyles. From a hearty breakfast spread that draws you in with both traditional and mindful choices to tempting little touches like sweet potato fries or a creamy hot chocolate topped with marshmallows, food and drink here feel personal — almost like they’ve been chosen just for you. There’s a satisfied ease in watching plates come and go, each one a quiet story of the morning or afternoon unfolding.

What stands out most, though, is the genuine kindness threaded through every interaction. The people behind the counter and around the tables bring a sense of responsibility and friendliness that quietly lifts the whole experience — making Noir more than just a place to eat or drink. It becomes a backdrop for new friendships, familiar faces, and those treasured moments of connection that linger long after the last sip.

If you’re looking for a bar that feels less like a stop on the way and more like a place to stay awhile, Noir Brasserie & Wine Bar welcomes you with open arms and the promise of a welcoming atmosphere that feels distinctly yours.

Organised a baby shower here for 27 guests for afternoon tea! The girls out front and the chef’s were so lovely and always on hand, they are a credit to the place! Its not easy serving 27 at once with a cafe full on the other side but they did everything they could for us all.. food was lovely also!

This was my first visit and I would definitely recommend it, however, it was cold inside, not sure if the heating was on or not. The food was delicious, I had the duck wrap with salad and a side of chunky chips and a decaf mocha which was also very nice. The car park is very small but I had no problem in parking across the road just a little further up from the wine bar. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
